Despite the black cloud that shadows it, The getaway is a very good game at heart.

It's a little dull for a depiction of London but with a great storyline and hundreds of Londoners to slaughter, who really cares?
The missions have just the right level of difficulty to be challenging and yet not make you frustrated enough to want to throw Mr Hammond out the window along with the dragster he came in....oops wrong Hammond.
Also given a black mark due to it's sequel Black Monday, the Getaway still get's stick simply for being the prequel to a crap game.
I can only hope that the developers get their arse out of the crapper long enough to make no. 3 half way decent.
