Good turn-based console RPG, marred by some serious flaws.

Like most reviews will tell you, The Final Fantasy Legend is not part of Squaresoft's (now Square Enix) iconic Final Fantasy franchise. It was made by the same company, yes, but it's part of the SaGa franchise, which is ... Read Full Review

This is my first review… Anyway I just got this game four months ago and as soon as I picked it up I realized how far games have really come. This game is black and white which I have not seen for year. It was nice to g... Read Full Review

You do not need fancy graphics to enjoy a good game.

I remember this game being pretty simple graphics wise if a bit less than Final Fantasy Adventure was but still you didn’t have to pretend the blue was water and the green was land. I cannot remember what game I started ... Read Full Review

The abysmal game that helped start legends...

Not bad for the first handheld RPG ever

As far as I know, The Final Fantasy Legend is the first RPG designed for a portable game system and it's history is somewhat irritating to me. This is not really a Final Fantasy title; this is actually the first game in ... Read Full Review

    Really old school

Before FF hit the NES in America we got this GB RPG. The story tells of a tower to salvation but getting in the tower is the trouble. You play as 4 travelers who first set out to get relics from 3 kings. This opens the t... Read Full Review

A decent game that any Final Fantasy fan should play.

I recently picked up the Final Fantasy Legend games, I have been a fan of the Final Fantasy series for years so I wanted to beat every game with Final Fantasy in the title. I picked this up to try a few different times.... Read Full Review

    In the beginning...

Imagination was necessary when playing old school games. There where a lot of blanks to fill in. For those few gamers that hear me on this, Final Fantasy Legend is worth a play. I thought the guild system of recruiting w... Read Full Review

It was great back then, but don't expect to be blown away by an epic RPG experience.

Final Fantasy Legend is the U.S. rendition of the Japanese game, SaGa: Makai Toshi. While developed by SquareSoft, Final Fantasy Legend is NOT related to the epic, story-heavy Final Fantasy series that remains running t... Read Full Review
