1 Like Gamespot needs to explain. And fast. They picked Skyrim as best RPG and yet they gave Dark Souls a 9.5 and Skyrim a 9.0! Be consistent for God's sake Kevin!!
people always have to fight over whose device is best. WHO CARES?! just play your favourite games and enjoy them. i have a 360 and i'm content with it. i'd like the modding tools of the pc and a few of the ps3 exclusives, but i don't moan about it. nothing is perfect.
@lindz23 I have and so have many others. You only have to look at online polls to see the problem's widespread. The thing that irritates me most about it is every one of their games released in the past four years or so have been glitch ridden (Fallout 3, New Vegas, Brink, Skyrim..etc.. to name but a few), you'd have thought they'd know what they're doing by now; apparently not. @Panda-Pat Slainta has a point. Technically PCs are superior but even games like Battlefield 3 on ultra aren't that far ahead of the six year old console tech, the games just aren't there to push PCs specs. Rightfully so being in a recession and all. From a game standpoint the PC misses out on lots of gems only ever seen on the consoles, aside from the exclusives unique to each platform, Dark Souls, Red Dead Redemption, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy XIII..etc... My brother's a PC gamer, he plays Skyrim; I've seen the differences (or lack of) besides a few extra visual quirks.
@Panda-Pat If PCs are so good, how comes that other than Skyrim I could play Dark and Demon's Souls? Also I would *love* to see the contortions of people playing such great 3rd person view RPGs with mouse and keyboard (yuck!). PCs have (now) the best hardware but for sure they don't have the best games.
@MEDzZ3RO Check your PS3. I have the PS3 version and it plays just fine. Don't condemn an amazing game like Skyrim just for that.
Skyrim for PC FTW ... once again consoles are inferior and haters hate only cuz they didnt have the same experience as us
I still stick by what I said originally, Dark Souls should have had this with The Witcher 2 a close second. Skyrim is damn near unplayable at times on the PS3 version still and it released with bugs on all 3 versions. Skyrim could have been a game but as it is, it's just good.
