User Rating: 10 | The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim X360
The Elder Scrolls, my favorite rpg series of all time. Morrowind was and still is a massive rpg with plenty of stuff to do. Oblivion was an improvement in every way.

So when Skyrim came out, I had just 1 question,
"How can they top Oblivion?"
Well, THEY DID!

Skyrim is probably, The best RPG I've ever played. Topping All the other ones I've played. I can just end this review now and say, 'Go Buy it'. But since many people, and game-sites, want a huge opinion/review. Here I go.

PROS: Amazing, Detailed Environments. Fantastic Soundtrack. Awesome Magic Spells, and Combat Improvements. Filled with Quests, and other awesome stuff to do. Dragon encounters are bad-ass! A more simple Leveling-Up System. Caves and Dungeons with challenging puzzles, are extremely enjoyable. And a ton of other things!

CONS: A couple of bugs, and freezes. Character Face Customization is slightly disappointing.

~Nominee/Winner 2011: GAME OF THE YEAR!

The amount of content is humongous. And the best thing about it is ALL interesting, it never gets old, at all. All the quests, even the little ones, are fantastic, and fun.

You play a....prisoner, a good old Elder Scrolls Tradition. Your about ready to get our head chopped off, when all of a sudden. A Dragon comes and destroys the village of Helgen. The thing here is Dragons have been, well, extinct for many years. So, as soon as you escape, you must find out, why these Dragons have returned.

Speaking of Dragons, lets talk about them, shall we?
The Dragons look amazing!! When you encounter them, its like an awesome event. Its like the Oblivion gates in the last game, once you see it. You will conquer, and when you come out victorious, you're on top of the world! Oh, and the Dragons look amazing to.

Everything looks amazing, the environments look awesome, and lovely detailed. Everything Sounds amazing. From taking your sword, to the dragons breathing fire at you, The sound-effects are excellent. And so is the Music, you'll be practically humming when your walking in your neighborhood.

One of the coolest things in this game, is the spells. Sure, you had spells in the other game, But this game takes that, and improve it on every level. And the best thing ever, is dual-wielding spells. and even...weapons. Which brings me to another improvement, the combat sees improvements too, in Oblivion it felt kinda stiff at times. But here, no problems.

Another Improvement i saw was the leveling up system. Its more simple to use, making it easier to level up, and even giving you cool attributes too.

There is so many cool locations in the land of Skyrim. The snowy mountains, to the extremely satisfying caves/dungeons to explore with their own story to tell, and cool and challenging puzzles. With great towns, that have stores to buy awesome weapons and armor. Or if you want to save some gold, craft your own weapons and armor.

I can go all day on how impressive this game. But they're some little complaints, like the character face customization. Its not as deep as Oblivion. Though the character models have improved, the character face customization isn't. Theres also some few bugs and freezing issues. But this is an Open-World RPG, so thats understandable.

With the very, very small complaints, they barely don't matter. Because Skyrim's content, looks, sound, and everything else, basically makes up for it. Whoever says that this game sucks needs to be punched in the Balls!

The Elder Scrolls has been around for years, improving their games with different things all the time. Skyrim is no exception. This is by far, The Best RPG of All Time, and One of of my favorite games of all time, and My personal Game of the Year. You NEED To BUY IT. The whole world of Tamriel depends on it.
