Repetitive, boring, simple, unrewarding.. might as well play Arena or Daggerfall.

After Fallout 3 I had high hopes that Bethesda wouldn't make the same mistakes they did with oblivion. And they didn't - they just dumbed it down so much it doesn't matter any more.
Potions on the fly? Nope.
Create your own Spells? Nope.
Enchant your Gear? Still there, you can enchant lots of rings with a very limited number of enchantments and wear one(!) of them at a time.. you get the idea

and so on.

One would think that this would at least prevent the usual Elder Scrolls transformation into an unstoppable killing machine. It doesn't: my mage started out rather weak but as my enchantment skills got better I was able to keep up with the leveling enemies. When Enchantment hits 100 you can create gear to cast destruction Spells for free and kill everything with a few fireballs.
Or more than a few - especially the bosses are just lame with lots of hitpoints.

It goes on like this and not all is bad - it just feels so uninspired. Even the factions feel booring. You can marry someone, but it's such a joke I refuse to even comment on it.

What bugs me the most is that there is no immersion at all. Virtually NO quest is solvable in walking distance from the quest giver. You are fast traveling so much you never really care where (or why) you are. Why go to sleep when you can fast travel to another town, quickly solve some stupid quest and be back for breakfast?

The dragons look cool, the first fight against one was good but not great, after the 3rd it was beginning to feel stupid and now I just blast them from the sky the moment they get close. And that's representative to how the game plays.
