An amazing follow up to 2006's game of the year.

User Rating: 9.5 | The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim X360
In 2006 when Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion came out I was uninterested at best. Fantasy and RPG's weren't my thing, I preferred Sandbox GTA games, and any FPS. A good friend of mine begged me to play Oblivion, even going so far as to purchase me a copy. After the first 5 min of the tutorial level I was hooked. I sunk well over 200 hours into Oblivion, and continue to play it today. I was beyond excited to hear about Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I pre-ordered myself a copy months before the release date and was ecstatic when it showed up. The day I got it I set aside 3 hours in which to test out my much awaited purchase. 14 hours later I was forcibly dragged away from my Xbox by my very upset girlfriend. This game is utterly amazing, Skyrim contains all the wonderful parts of Oblivion and has left behind many of the irksome game-play mechanics. I couldn't be happier with this game, it is one of the only games for the 360 that I felt has truly warranted it's full $60 price tag. There are a few bugs in this game, some can be rather annoying; for instance when a "follower" is following you they almost always get stuck and lag far behind. With games this ambitious some problems are expected and I am quite sure Bethesda is working tirelessly to provide updates and patches. If you love games, it doesn't matter what genera you like, you will absolutely love this game. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim definitely warrants a 9.5.
