Skyrim weapon damage glitch... any way to edit weapon damage?

I was going to make some super-duper two-handed bonus gloves but then Skyrim just 'Bethesda'd' me:

Deadric Sword damage (no 28% gloves): 109
*makes gloves*
Deadric Sword damage (with made 28% glove): 109....?
*I take off the gloves*
Deadric Sword damage (no 28% gloves): 79..................
lolwut?
*reload save before making*
Still at 79.... and yes I am 100% sure it was at 109 before I made those gloves since I've been using that sword for the past 6 hours, some glitch permanently decreased the damage by 20

Anyone know how to edit a weapon's stats by using the console or messing with some files?

unequip your apparels and re-equip them, that should reset active magic effects.

i think it's your mind playing tricks on ye regarding damage reduction.

It's a bug. I've had on all my apparel and had no bonus added, So I reload, the same. Go to another location, suddenly working fine.

Bugs make the game more interesting, right?
