My satellite internet service sucks and is stupidly limited on its download usage cap. How many MB are Dawnguard and Hearthfire, respectively? And does anyone know how big Dragonborn will be?

if your satellite carrier limits you any more than the typical phone/wifi carrier does, you need a new ISP (which is to say, around 10gb of transfer).
The DLC's aren't generally too big; but Dragonborn might be a fair bit bigger for containing Morrowind (lots of Solstheim) assets.
dawnguard - is around 500mb
hearthfire - around 80mb
dragonborn - around 800mb

First, thank you for the info.
Second, yeah, they suck. Sure, the usage cap is 17,000 MB, but it's a 30 day rolling period. As soon as I get the money, I'm switching to something better.

Kaushad posted...Dude, you have it better than me. 5000MB per month. not 50000, not 500000, 5000.

Again, satilite internet. No such thing as an internet monopoly.

satellite isn't that good, if all you do is browse the web and such it's fine, but for anything like starcraft, WoW, virtually any FPS, or any other real-time game, you're just going to lag (phenomenally so, at 1000ms+ constantly).
satellite is NOT available everywhere. I can't get satellite, due to trees in the way (and it's considerably more expensive to clear the small forest than it would be to just suck it up and stick with what I've got).
I'm a shining example of limited internet options.
No cable - the cable companies don't service my area.
No DSL - the phone companies haven't put a DSL relay near enough to me.
No Satellite - trees & such in the way, no clear view of the proper sky.
Wifi - only decent option, even if it does get weird issues sometimes.
Dial-up - it's a double dipping scheme; pay for ISP service, pay for a phone line. Cheaper for me to go wifi.

We're kind of in the same boat. The only options our here are the satellite service I have right now and Wifi through Verizon. The Wifi option, after comparing the two, is definitely better, but changing over requires money I don't have yet.

Yeah I had satellite for about 7 years with a 400 meg a day download cap. That sucked big time. Not to mention I was paying almost $100 a month for it and the download speed was horrendous. My highest download speed was around 200kbs a second and that was in the wee hours of the morning. Normally it was around 50-100kbs. And got as low as 10kbs or so often enough. That and dialup were the only options I had =/
