I've played the 360 version before and only experienced major slowdowns/lag in certain areas. But with PS3 patches on the game how does it compare to the 360?
Posting here since this board is more active btw.

Hahaha I've never had any lag on the 360 version. Though I've heard the insane amount of nightmares the ps3 version had!!!

With patches the PS3 version runs great. I never have any real problems. I can't compare it to the 360 version, but I play all the time with no slowdown and next to no serious bugs.

It's been proven everywhere that Skyrim runs better on Xbox than PS3 because it was developed on Xbox and ported to the PS3...

I thought it was exactly how it was when I bought it 2 years ago.
Silly me.
My xbox has probably went through puberty increasing the strength and power of all the hardware since I bought it.
Of course it doesn't go through puberty as well as the PS3 though.

No Skyrim on the box to compare it to, but I will say this. 1.8 has fixed (almost) every last framerate issue I ever had (which were few and far between to begin with).
The only thing we still get (and so do you guys, according to what I read) is the favorite menu/weapon switch lag. Which, I'm still 100% certain is due to issues accessing sound files.
Either way, PS3 = Xbox* in this particular instance, though who knows. When we get Dawnguard something else could easily break.
*With the exception of people now sleeping with their eyes open
