Here is one way to resign save data using 2 free tools.

This is how I do it....Yeah there are easier ways..

Just follow directions. It's not hard at all. Just a little bit of counting. Can you count to 45? Then read on!

You will need PS3SFOEdit and Brute Force 2.4.1... Install both ( make note of where Brute Force installs )

First how to find YOUR user id and console id (only way I know how, sorry! )

-- Using PS3SFOEdit click load
-- Find YOUR Skyrim save click PARAM
-- Click Advanced Edit
-- Go to #5 and copy the entire line under data
-- Paste it in notepad or ect.. TURN OFF word wrap! Close PS3SFOEdit after you copy/paste into notepad.

With the numbers in notepad or ect.. ( word wrap OFF )

DO THIS CAREFULLY !
-- On the first line count to the 25th number ( Ex; 00 or 23 or 99 is one number ) the 25th number is half of your user id copy/paste to a new notepad or ect..
-- From 25th # go to the 29th (29th is the start of your console id )
-- 29th through 44th is your console id copy/paste it where you pasted the above
-- 45th is second half of user id copy/paste

***So the 25th number is one part of your user id, and the 44th number is the other part ( ex; 0404= user id. )

***Your console id is the 29th number through the 44th number and should be 16 numbers long.
( F2 or 01 or 98 is ONE NUMBER )

With user and console ids open in note pad...
Ex;

04 04 = user id

0A 9E 87 87 87 98 9A 98 87 76 47 11 12 13 14 45 = console id

***Delete the spaces in between the numbers *** Keep notepad OPEN.

-- Open up Brute Force folder ( where you installed ) and find "global.conf"
-- Open up global.conf ( notepad ect.. with word wrap OFF )
-- Find the words "user id" it should look like "userid/00000001"
-- Delete the LAST four numbers and put in your user id (Ex; "userid/00000404 )
-- Find consoleid/000ect.. and copy/paste your own (Ex; consoleid/0A9E878787989A988776471412131445 )
***THERE SHOULD BE NO SPACES ANYWHERE***
-- Save
( If it won't let you save... cut/copy global.conf and edit it elsewhere, and move it back )

With the User and Console ids taken care of ( edited into global.conf ) now you can resign the OTHER USERS save...
Btw..You only need to do that once.


-- Find a copy of YOUR OWN Skyrim Save, and copy PARAM.sfo to Brute Force Folder, and rename it "template"
-- Launch Brute Force
-- In Brute Force click Set PARAM.SFO as Template
-- Click Configure Profiles
-- Pick one
-- Find the "template" file you copied to Brute Force folder
-- Pick a name for the profile.


[ MAKES SURE TO HAVE A COPY OF MODDED SAVE(S) JUST IN CASE ]

***This will resign the save from where the save is located. Ex; If if the save is on a usb drive ect.. it will resign THAT file. So you can resign many saves very quick

-- Click Rebuild
-- Click Rebuild Full
-- Transfer to PS3.

Easy as that... lol. Enjoy the ability to save over modded saves.
Also knowing you can resign another save(s) whenever you want (You don't have to feel like your bothering someone)
And the resigning takes seconds (just load the save and click Rebuild and then Rebuild Full.)

I just wish I knew how to get ( not that it would help me now anyway ) the User and Console Id's easier. So other people could do this without the counting numbers.....It's a pain.. I hate counting!
