entitled? you are entitled to nothing.
This. TC needs to shut it. - Sep 5, 2012 3:43 pm GMTThe TC/people defending this know there isn't a legal leg to stand on in terms of asking for downloadable content for a video game right?
The only reason they are busting their butts to get the DLC content done is so you guys can still throw your money at them even after weeks/months complaining about not getting it.
They had such a huge hassle fixing the game itself on PS3 I'm sure they're running into those same problems.
After Skyrim came out all you heard was people complaining about how they could send out a game full of glitches and problems. It took them a while but they fixed it.
Now they are actually doing it the right way and making sure it runs smoothly before they ask you to throw your money at them and people are still complaining. - Sep 5, 2012 3:43 pm GMTA stupid topic that should have been locked once it was made. You paid $60 for a game and you know what you got the game. Of course it had bugs but almost every game now adays do. They release patches to help get rid of the glitches. They never promised download content and even if they did and it was never released you would still have no reasonable means on any kind of lawsuit. Unless you prepaid for said content and then it was never released and you got no refund. If your that concerned about DLC just buy a 360 and stop trolling gamefaqs.

Pokemon Black: 2623 8887 9320 - Sep 5, 2012 3:46 pm GMTAren't all Bethesda games glitchy?
Of course, it would be nice if they released as many patches in so little time as Valve does. (A.K.A Insta-patch) - Sep 5, 2012 3:47 pm GMTI would think a lawsuit would just make Bethesda decide the PS3 is too much bother to deal with and simply begin completely ignoring it.

Given the fact that they'd lose nothing from the lawsuit, they'll probably just write it off as a completely deranged group of rabid individuals.
Unfortunately, these individuals are what most of society see gamers as, people on those absolutely idiotic Gamefly commercial who have a complete and utter nervous breakdown if they play a bad game.

PSN: VT-14 - Sep 5, 2012 3:59 pm GMTWhy file a lawsuit?
They made the dlc's to provide additional entertainment for us when they could've just moved on to make the other games that are in the works. Obviously they're putting alot of effort to make the dlc's available to the ps3 given the fact that they went and fixed alot of the PS3's bugs when it first released. I think a lawsuit is going too overboard, but that's just me saying
- Sep 5, 2012 4:07 pm GMTI love how people with no programming experience just assume that everything will just work... I get you want the DLC but please understand this. As a software developer, big difference from a programmer, yes you the customer are a very important part of the process of development. But please do understand that also as software devs its not their job to conform to EVERY demand you have, 99.999% of the time you just don't understand what is actually feasible and what is not. How do I know this? I'm a software developer. Linux dev and Windows dev... Two different worlds at times. If the PS3 and the 360 have different programming then it's only natural that different methods are needed to make the games. "Let's sue Bethesda!" blah blah blah. Trust me this is going no where. If it does make it to a court I'm positive it won't go the way you want. The PS3 is harder to code on, this has been a fact since the system came out, so it will take time to make. According to GFaqs the DLC came out in June. It's only September. Just wait!
P.S. No one is saying that you shouldn't voice your concerns to a company. If they listen they are part of a dying bred of companies that actually give a damn. If not then you should know not to do business with them. So if Bethesda has a history of not listening to their customers then why are YOU still doing business with them. If you want change to happen then voice that change with your dollars. Last I check if a game company goes out of business the gov doesn't bail them out.

Atleast if it came from Bioware, it would work.

You almost seem proud of Bethesda because they can't fix the current problems nor will they ever release all the Skryrim DLC for PS3. Keep on defending and congratulating them on a job well done.
- Sep 5, 2012 4:38 pm GMTClass action law suit? For what?
"HURR BETHESDA NEVER PROMISED US DLC BUT NOW THAT WE AREN'T GETTING IT IM MAD"
The Judge, Bethesda's Lawyers, the Jury, YOUR lawyer, and everyone else in the court will laugh you out of it

*grabs popcorn* - Sep 5, 2012 4:40 pm GMTBethesda released a defective product on PS3 because they were more concerned with the 360 version of the game.
Other developers manage not to screw over PS3 consumers with multiplatform releases, so for one of the biggest names in the industry to dump on millions of their customers like this is an outrage.
Bethesda should have ensured the game was fit for purpose before releasing it or just not released it at all.

No. of broken down 360s to date: 5 and counting. So much for Jasper "fixing" things >

Bethesda is a PC company
360 deving is closer to PC deving then PS3 deving
Of Course Bethesda is going to have problems deving for PS3 when most of their games are PC main to console ports

*grabs popcorn* - Sep 5, 2012 4:49 pm GMTThis is ridiculous. I realize this is probably a troll topic, but still. Class action lawsuits are the realm of pharmaceutical companies whose drugs give people unwanted side effects like birth defects or organ damage.
Watch Erin Brokovich to see what class action lawsuits are for.
Suing a company because you are unsatisfied with a piece of entertainment? Talk about first world problems.
This isn't about "standing up and having a backbone", this is about you not understanding what protections and rights you are entitled to by the law. The law isn't there to protect you from the horrors of a bad game.
I spent my "hard earned money" (Please stop saying this) on Skyrim as well. Apparently, I'm in the minority that had no problems with it. But even if I had a problem with it, it's a game. If it was, say, my car and the accelerator was broken and it caused a crash, then yes, a class action lawsuit may be in order.
But fact is, you are just unsatisfied with a piece of entertainment. The problems with Skyrim running on PS3 have been well known since practically day one. The only money you or anyone is entitled to is easily made up with a trip to gamestop and trading the game in, or as I would suggest (since you can get more money), selling it on Amazon. How terribly inconvenient for you. - Sep 5, 2012 4:54 pm GMTFrom: Scout4515 | #036

I didn't say that, I put quotation marks around it. TC said it.
Still, it opens up wounds that don't need opening. So yeah.
