A delightful new levelling system, and a lot of Bug fixes.
I eagerly await this patch.

As i said once i think they are prepping to add eve more skills with the new dlc. They said so themselves that to add a skill for spears would be to screw over the people that have reached the lvl cap.
Now that that issue is out of the way we may be getting the spears these guys have always wanted and MORE, they arent bound by that anymore. So yea i'm excited at how many possibilities this opens.

I suppose you could be right. In which case, I'm even more excited. = D

I haven't read much on it yet (just got home from vacation a few hours ago). But if I understand the legendary thing right, you'd be able to eventually hit level 80 even if you just wanted to keep using the same few skills over and over again. It would solve the annoyance of having to level skills you don't feel like using when you reach the high levels and all your main skills are already maxed.
So if my understanding is correct, I like it. If my understanding is wrong, then I suppose my opinion is worthless.

I would trade Legendary for playable Nocturnal/Greybeard/Ancient Falmer Crown.
Legendary should also have made resting, eating, and drinking a necessity.

I was pleasantly surprised to see all of the bug fixes that are in this patch. I was also amused at how many were "rare", considering how many topics I've seen about them and the times that I have experienced them.

Yup.
I've gotten every one on the list, which claims they're 'rare.'

I didn't read most of the "rare" glitches, yet those I did read I never got, but I am SO glad they're fixing the problem with the Ebony Blade. The game's been out for almost 16 months now and they JUST NOW get to it? The weapon's freaking worthless unless you're actually willing to invest in both one handed AND two handed. Now I can actually play a Samurai that uses a TWO handed katana and not feel gimped.

Why add a skill for spears? Wouldn't it be redundant? I mean it would be a two handed weapon.

The bug fixes are an overdue and welcome addition.
I'm with onyx on Legendary difficulty, I will absolutely start a new playthrough and be on Legendary from the headsman's block, but something a little more substantial than HP bloat would have been nice, Survivalism via rest and nourishment, maybe even disabling fast travel would have been neat.
Legendary skills, while kinda of dumb, was the best way they could think up to add perk points, laying the foundation for more skills. I hope anyway. If not it's just silly. I'm sure there will be a series of new achievements to encourage it's use.
I personally don't use the OI glitch and the like, but I'm not sure why the removal of this, black briar meadery speech leveling, riverwood trader investment, etc was necessary. I felt that the Riverwood trader investment was the ONLY was I could offload banish enchanted daggers and potions from grinding alchemy and the link. Punching merchants and reloading saves or hitting the xbox menu button on my control for 'fast wait' is going to get really old on a new playthrough.
While the patch seems to have us console players in mind, and is laying the foundation for future DLCs, I'm pretty butthurt over the fixing of selective participatory exploits / features, while ignoring others, limiting the options of console players. We'll see. Hopefully the awesomeness of bug fixes washes the sand out of my nether regions.

I still don't get why so many people are going "hurr legendary skills are teh stoopid"
It allows people with a limited skillset to reach 80+ without having to grind skils that are irrelevant to them and out of character.
It also allows a character to TRULY become a master of all trades. More options are never bad.

Because reaching 81 is also pointless?
Levelling up beyond 50 just makes the game ridiculously easy, as enemies--save dragons--stop levelling up.
Most people who want more levels, more perks, more whatever, are the exact same people who boost to 81, forge godly weapons, and complain about how easy the game is.
So now they are going to be even stronger, and complain even louder.

They are? Everyone who is 80+ complains?
And last I checked there are enemies that only appear at higher levels.
