How long does it take for dead bodies to disappear?

I put a bandit chief in my house (breeze home) and I went back to dead thrall it, and it was gone. It had only been in there one in game day. Is there somewhere you can put bodies that make them last forever?

I'm guessing his zone reset. I'm not exactly sure how thralling affects enemies.

I'm wondering this as well.

I went into the ratway and the two guys that you meet in there when you first enter that attack you are still there laying dead. It's been probably 3 game months or more since then.

Their zone hasn't reset. I think the Bandit Chief's did.

It varies on the body. Three npcs that never disappear after they die are Rigel Strong-Arm, Sild the Warlock, and Kornalus.

If you want to use Dead Thrall, you can keep their bodies in your house and they'll always stay there.
