Lakeview Manor is the prettiest location, but is near a bandit camp, more prone to attack.

My kids prefer lakeview. I tried moving them to the other two and they both moaned about how cold it was, especially Samuel. Whereas with lakeview it's all "I love it here!"

Lakeview Manor, assuming you're okay with having a necromancer for a neighbor.

There's a difference between them?
Huh.
They all seem pretty much the same to me.

I'd rather have Cid the necromancer and his alter of terror as neighbors than have draugr knocking on my doors at night asking for sugar and s***

Lakeview is nice and I'm really enjoying it, but there's a freakin' ninja giant that lurks outside my door. I got splatted across the grounds.

Yep, Lakeview subdivision is not what it used to be. Too many rental properties now. The riff-raff are making me wish I had a privacy fence like my Ork friends. I wish my other vacation homes had a better climate, I'd sell out in a minute. Maybe a time share is the way to go.

I took that literally. That he asked for both a cup of sugar, and a cup of s***.
Why would a necromancer want that?

You make it sound like you want a gated community...
....wait. Wasn't Lakeview the name of the movie where Samuel L. Jackson played a cop terrorizing his neighbors (Lakeview Terrace, to be precise)?
...Prodrivertn...now I see what kind of person you REALLY are. Stay away from my young'uns...!!!

How about a sign that just says "DON'T"? You could hit people with it.

I'm liking the one in The Pale which is near Whiterun, though it appears to be sandwiched between two giant camps

probably lakeview.
I wish they had a house high up in one of the mountains with a sweet observatory. I've always really enjoyed the sky in Skyrim.

Kid didn't know what to put in his signature; didn't think it would be this hard. So he just typed some stuff, and kept typing till there wasn't any space left.

Hmmm, Lakeview does sound best but I think I'll start with the other two. Role play wise the kids and wife complaining will give me a good excuse to move twice. Plus by the time I get to Lakeview I'll be a beast that can kill giants and dragons without much trouble.

Bumping for more opinions.

I have lakeview set up as the "family" house (Assuming I ever decide to get married). It has bedrooms, storage, and an armory (What can I say, I want my family to have weapons at their disposal if needed, I've already been attacked by a dragon and giant there myself)
Heljarchen Hall, is my nerd house. It has an alchemy and enchanting wing, with a library. I'm in the process of transferring my raw materials there for future use.
Windstad is my personal favorite, but I think mostly because it seems like most people don't like the idea of living in a swamp, and I like it because I feel nobody bothers me up there. Nice and isolated (Trophy room, Armory and Greenhouse)
Probably should of given the family house the greenhouse, and Windstad the storage area, but what are you gonna do? (Should be able to tear down/rebuild wings)
