i noticed alot of them require you to murder someone for the weapon, i chose to destroy the skull of corruption because i personally don't want to assault and murder someone. if i chose to kill Silus does that count as murder and assault? i read on the wiki he over hears your conversation and may attack you immediately which would not count as murder. my question is does it count as assault and murder?

I just did the quest. He attacks you first. It won't count as murder or assault.

That's the Dawnstar nightmare quest? I never kill him, I just wait for him to finish and all is well. He'll become a follower after, which to me is far more useful than the staff.

Ah, thanks. Yeah, he'll attack if you don't. Same with the haunted house quest in Markath.

Yeah, but the dark elf dude with the staff betrayed his priest buddies. I kinda felt he deserved to die.

That's the same situation with Paarthurnax.

Most Daedric quests require you to murder someone, usually in a twisted or brutal way. Not in any way that will give you a bounty, though, if that's what you're worried about.

Paarthurnax turned his back on his fellow dragons, mostly Alduin and like the Elf in that quest, tries to right the wrongs of his past and you're presented with the option to kill him.I had no real.point though, just commenting.

So you're saying because Paarthurnax betrayed his fellow dragons, he deserves to die???

Oh boy, another Paarthurnax argument. No thread is safe.

Well, now that you mention it...
No, I'm just saying its the same scenario. And once I realized that, I felt kinda hypocritical. I have no problem killing Paarthurnax but the priest of Mara, I can't bring myself to kill him.
