Arrow in the hand when cancelling shots

I'm not sure if this is new or I've been oblivious to it since release but when you cancel your shot with a bow, there is a brief animation where your hand moves back to your side and an arrow is stuck in it.

Is this new or did I somehow miss it since release? I noticed it on PC, checked and it's there on console as well.

Yes that's exactly what I mean. I can't believe I somehow didn't notice it all this time. I've been playing since midnight release, I feel like there's a million things I've somehow never seen now.

Are you sure this wasn't a bug created by a recent patch or a DLC/mod conflict?

Well the video he linked above is from August I think, and I don't run any mod's really so I'm not sure.

Really? You must be special because Mike is right, it happens on pc and consoles. I remember playing the 360 version a while back and it had the same animation bug.

Had this even before when just playing vanilla Skyrim. However, this is something that happens rarely when you decide to sheathe the arrow after you pull out the bow (that's how I got that kind of problem). Reloading fixed it for me. Don't know about you.
