The Elder Scrolls Online - The Alliances Cinematic Trailer

Haven't thought about this until now: Why are they setting up to fight eachother? They all seem to be against the imperials. It would make much more sense if they where a party that breifly split up for tactical reasons, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Always thought the female elf was with the imperials until I now noticed that she was part of the attackforce against that bastion. Cool, but so damn wierd.
....that's not how it goes down when i fight in skyrim...it's just random as swings until the red health bar is depleted....
All I know is im with that thieves guild looking dude... thats a baaaad man lol
awsome trailer, but besides the elf, what are these races? is that a dwarf? what is this rogue character, dark brotherhood?
although it looks pretty, it tells me nothing. The game itself could be in Atari graphics and have no depth at all. Stop wasting my time and give me something real to look at besides a 5 minute movie.
@stev69 Would be kind of nice if "next gen" actually meant this kind of quality. Can't blame people for hoping.
I like all the comments stating how the game isn't going to be like the prerendered cinematic trailer, lol are you guys serious? When was the last time you played an MMO, no MMO is remotely capable of that kind of quality, get some perspective people.
I have to say. I was thinking Star Wars:TOR was going to revolutionize the MMO industry. I was also extremely skeptical of this game when I heard about it. Holy crap though, they have my attention.
i might finally play an elder scrolls game if it has pvp & will be on console.. hopefully it'll be on ps4
Can't stand cinematics looks all nice and that but i bet half the stuff if not all the fancy moves they do you won't be able to do in the actual game... Just start making another ES add blocking with dual weapons too or even better unarmed combat would love to sneak behind some bandit and be able to snap their neck with my hands lol
free to play within the first year of release. Dont expect much of this money wasted that would have been better put to use on another non MMO elder scrolls.
This is going to be baaaaaaad. Like Bethesda is going to tarnish everything they did with this game. I never loved MMO's never will, but to see my favorite game to turn to one is just SO VERY DISAPPOINTING!.
This once amazing series will be ruined by dumbed down MMO gameplay and number crunches based on gear.
Game will be nothing like the opening video, which is a huge letdown.
typical Bethesda.. spend millions on advertising that tells the audience absolutely nothing about how good the game is going to be..
No love for the beast races as usual.
And having the 3 factions is dumb when you have the 3 biggest enemies under one banner - that alliance is doomed!!
This opening movie looks really great. Too bad this game is going to be a WoW clone.
@jubdeidamasta Yawn, WoW is the be all and end all of time, before WoW there was no life the universe and everything. WoW is the first MMO ever and everything hence forth shall be named "WoW the clone" etc etc.
Overused and frankly tedious WoW clone platitude is overused and frankly tedious WoW clone platitude.
@RetroSEAL Lol of course its not going to be a live cinematic experience, thats way beyond technological limitations at present.
I have not purchased the game but was wondering for those who did, can you still play the game in play alone mode? Or do you still need to be connected to their server to even play without friends or with others???
It's not out yet, but it's an MMO - I highly doubt you can play the game without coming across other human players - regardless of whether you quest alone or not.
How much do you think the first guys to try running across the rope bridges were getting paid?
@jookiyaya Because that would be a realistic expectation on a single mega server with hundreds of players on it,
I'm hoping this is going to be a descent game, but Some of you people are complete media whores, who are so easily bought and swayed by game developers. It's pathetic, and sad really. Game play videos, and trailers don't mean anything. When the media plays something nice looking in games or T.V people are all over it like it's going to be the second coming of Jesus, People seem to get dumber and dumber with this shit and never learn. Developers will only show the best parts of the game to sell you, thats their job. Do some research, educate yourself and quite being such a pathetic weak minded sheep.
@midnight_trashh If you are a fan of morrowind or skyrim I don't see why you wouldn't be anticipating this game. Elders scrolls has proven they can make a GOTY for singleplayer and have a great track record , I am excited to see what they can bring to the table for mutli. It's dumb on your part to not to be excited. Have you ever played an elders scrolls game?
Are you referring to Bethesda proving they can make a GOTY? Because Bethesda are NOT the people making this. They guys that make the Elder Scrolls games are not working on this, Zenimax are.
A lot of the features that are included or excluded from this game go against what the fans want from an TES title. This is what @midnight_trashh means when talking about doing research into the game before jumping on board.
As an TES fan it would be dumb to support this game - mostly because it could effect future TES titles (there hasn't been another Warcraft RTS game since WoW was released - Screw WoW, I want a WC4 dammit!)
