The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion User Review
It's hard to get used to at first but as you continue playing, it grows on you.

- Just Right

- 20 to 40 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Grows on you"
Elder's Scrolls IV is an extremely fun and immersive game that you would be spending many hours on. It almost feels like you're in this fantasy world and that you have many stuff to do. The game starts with you in a prison cell being released by none other than the Emperor of the Cyrodiil who tells you that there is a prophecy that a hero will rise against the opposing forces of demons from Oblivion. The emperor believes that you're the one to save the world and you set off on a quest to stop the forces. Along the way you get to meet some people who'll give you more quests to complete, which makes this game more open and that you're not stuck doing one quest.
The graphics in this game are impressively detailed for the time although at times you will come across bits of the landscape popping up at times almost like this games graphics are so good that the machine cannot handle it's awesomeness. But most of these glitches are pretty much forgivable because you'll enjoy the game play. The game is a little bit hard to get used to at first because there is a lot of stuff you have to keep in mind upgrading or managing the equipment that you have and it all has to do with over emcumbered meter, which determines how much armor and weapons you can carry at a time. Now I have to admit I thought it was a little bit frustrating to having to drop weapons or armor that are excellent because of the meter and the fact that at points in the game you get weak and the meter will be downgraded. You can also use magic spells that can heal you or give and extra weapon to use for me personally I mostly use my weapons because they are more accurate to use than the spells. As the game goes on you'll upgrade your abilities and you'll be able to gain new abilities that benefit your character.
Once you get the hang of all this you'll spend a ton of hours playing a lot of the fun quests, earning gold, gaining new weapons, and overall have this world to roam through.
