One of the best RPGs ever

User Rating: 9.3 | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion X360
There was a lot about Morrowind that I didn't like: crappy animation, too much reading, boring travel, and how slow it all felt. It was still a good dame, but not something I would want to play more than once.

Oblivion fixed all of it. Now there are different animations for when you swing an axe, every NPC in the game actually talks, you can travel much faster, and you don't feel like you're just wandering around aimlessly.

Most everything about this game is amazing. The gameplay is well done, the graphics are superb, the voice acting is great, and there are seemingly endless possibilities of playthrough.

I only have 1 real gripe. The main story falls a little flat at the end. It's still a good ending, but it just doesn't have the climactic feel that an adventure like this should. This is compounded by the fact that you can continue to play after the story is over, which I am not a fan of. It does allow you to keep doing quests, so I can forgive, but this still brings Oblivion down a few points.

But the game is still flat out amazing. Not everyone will love it, but it certainly is a must-try for every 360 owner.
