More than I ever imagined , It blew me away.

User Rating: 10 | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion X360
First off I want to say I'm writing this review and I have not completed the game, but I can't wait! This is defiantly one reason to get the Xbox 360. I was one of the lucky few that got my 360 at launch (premium bundle) the sad part is I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. The games weren’t really there. Sure there are defiantly good games for the 360 but just good. I mean I love Call of Duty 2 and Condemned. So eventually (plz people don't hurt me) I stopped using my 360 for about a month. Then my copy of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion collector’s edition came in. Now I can't believe that I ever put my 360 away.

Gameplay: I want start by saying that, I do realize that I put 100 plus hours to date, It's just I already know that this game is going to suck 100 plus hours out of my life lol. The story is one that will not bore you it's not like a lot of the generic rpg's out there, but the story does remind me a little of Diablo and the Morrowind. But it is defiantly unique and does stray away form being generic. It's remarkable how much you can do in this game. You have the option of just beating the main quest or you can do side quest or just explore and make you own quest, no matter what you will find something to do. If it's buying a home, riding horse through the country side, becoming a alchemist, hunting, etc the list could go on for a while.

Graphics: The graphics are remarkable with few really few glitches (I excepted more because of everything you can do in the game). The environment is simply remarkable shadow and textures are right on the mark and it really, really proves in my opinion of what the 360 is capable of doing. The character models actually look like character off of (final fantasy: sprit within, well with facial expression and detail I mean). You honestly sometime just stop playing and just look around the environment. It is absolutely breathtaking.

Sound: Sound is defiantly on the mark, the musical score is awesome but, it doesn't mess with what you here in the environment. From footsteps coming from behind you or just eavesdropping on some towns folks.

Value: It is a pricy game especially the collectors edition. But it's worth so much more. One really cool this about the collector’s edition is the Septim Coin you get, makes the game seem a little more real. This is truly a reason for anybody to get a 360 this game is an experience that no one should go without.

Reviewer's Tilt: There’s so much to say but, so hard to describe. You basically have to play this game. It takes everything that is liked about RPG's and through in more. I was one of the few people that didn't like Morrowind (again don't hurt me). I really had found it hard to get into the story and begin the game. Oblivion on the other hand wasn't, it could have been because of all I read before I had the game or maybe because the main quest starts right off the bat. Oblivion has so far been a captivating game and I expect a lot more OMG moments. It really does for me redefine the rpg world. It is a must buy for anybody who owns a 360 and a reason for someone to go out and buy a 360.
