Where can I find 5 empty grand soul gems?

Where can I find five grand empty soul gems without having to pay for them?

The best way is to join the Mages Guild and search Chorrol and the Arcane University but you need to be good at lock-picking or you won't get all of them. There are 3 in the University Lobby to get, and the rest in Chorrol's Mages Guild, and you should get enough empty soul gems. (Something like 7-10 if you search)

    In chorrol there is 3 by the staircase in the mages guild.

    in the imperial city there is a shop called Mystic Emporium he has a grand soul gem that you can buy then use the Duplication glitch to get 5.

    The Duplication glitch does not work for items. I have tried many times. I will give you a list of all the places you can find Grand Soul Gems at so don't worry you'll have plenty of choices to choose from as to where you want to obtain them.

    GRAND SOUL GEMS:

    Anvil, Mages Guild, Felan Relas sells one.
    Bravil, Mages Guid, Ardaline sells one.
    Bruma, Mages Guild, Selena Orianna sells one.
    Cheydinhal, Mages Guild, Eilonwy sells one.
    Chorrol, Mages Guild, Angalmo sells one.
    Leyawiin, Mages Guild, Alves Uvenim sells one.
    Drakelowe, on Carbolo's upper reaches south of Cheydinhal Located in Basement
    Squandred Mine, Northeast from Drakelowe (make sure you search every barrel, chest, etc.)
    Crayfish Cave, South/Southeast of Drakelowe (make sure you search every barrel, chest, etc.)
    Nornal (Ayleid Ruin), West of Drakelowe (make sure you search every barrel, chest, etc.)
    Chorrol, Mages Guild, in display cases
    Imperial City, Arcane University (not just in the main room, the sleeping quarters, etc.)
    Imperial City, Market District, Mystic Emporium (the Merchant sells one)
