How do i fill soul gems?

I have a magic weapon and i dont want to keep paying to recharge it. I have soul gems but i dont know how to fill them so i can recharge my own weapon. Can someone help plz???

Just to expand a little on that, if you do Azura's shrine quest, you can get Azura's Star, which is a grand sould gem that doesn't disappear after you use it, so you can always have space for a soul.
