- "Masterpiece"
Most games that seem long and boring, I normally just leave them, never to touch them again. Same was the case when I first started playing Morrowind. But after a few days, I was totally addicted to it. The story is just amazing. I'd rate the story of Morrowind better than that in Oblivion and Dragons Age. It simply is amazing.
It totally deserves a 9.5 rating, if not a clear 10 for that year. The graphics are brilliant. The story is awesome, I simply ask the game reviewers, what is missing?!?!? For games out that year, surely nothing beats Morrowind. The game is detailed like no other, the explorable map is huge, you can basically do anything and chose your own path into the game, unlike other RPGs like DA where the story is made for you and you cannot move out of line too much.
The game has a main story quest and lot of side quests which keep on increasing as the game progresses. You can join various guilds and factions such as the Redoran Guild, Morag Tong, Thieves guild, Fighters Guild, etc. and advance to the top rank. These quests take some time, but are also a lot of fun. The main story deals with Lord Nerevar and the reason for his reincarnation.
The game is great, even now in 2010 end, its still my 2nd favourite game of all time, behind Oblivion.
