User Rating: 9 | The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Game of the Year Edition PC
Before I played TES III, I couldn't fathom RPGs, I thought they were boring, dumb even. I got the game down at Gamestop on XBOX originally, cost me like 5 bucks used. It confused me at first, the combat was like nothing i've experienced and the story/ world seemed bizarre. Eventually I was pulled into this fantasy world; this game is amazing! Eventually my xbox broke, so i bought Morrowind for my PC. I found the game to be even better, with vast amounts of customization through mods, and it felt much more comfortable playing with a mouse.

Sound: 9/10
The soundtrack grows on you, with an orchestra playing the perfect music, for each particular scene (battle music, walking through town, you get it)

Controls: 6/10
You'll get used to the controls rather quickly, along with Morrowinds CLASSIC (ha!) battles - (miss, miss, miss, miss, hit, miss.) Of course, the higher you level the more hits land, but, Oblivions fighting system was much better, and if integrated into Morrowind, would make the perfect game.

Graphics: 7/10
The graphics are definitely not even comparable to Oblivion, as many people insist on noting. BUT, the game came out 8 years ago, so it doesnt bother me in the slightest, especially when played with the right mods.

Length: 10/10
It boggled me how much there is to do in Morrowind, and if you have the expansions (Bloodmoon, Tribunal), along with the main game/story, there is a enormous variety of quests; such as taking orders from the Imperial Legion, or the Imperial Cult. If that doesn't interest you, you can work for the Fighters Guild, or the Mages guild. Hell, the Thieves guild too! Doing the main storyline, (The Blades and whatnot) is definitely interesting, this game is very unusual, and the story sucks you in!! Expansion packs or not, this game is enormous, and theres always a adventure to be had or a quest to be undertook (although i definitely recommend getting Bloodmoon AND Tribunal)

Replayability: 10/10
See above ^^^

Overall Grade: B+
Although this game has flaws, and is not graphically advanced as Oblivion, i definitely prefer Morrowind over Oblivion, although the fighting system in Oblivion blows Morrowinds outta the water.
If you like RPGs, with vast customization, with addictive gameplay and a really interesting storyline, Morrowind is your game. After you finish Morrowind, Oblivion awaits :)
