Pure Freedom

User Rating: 8.5 | The Elder Scrolls: Chapter II - Daggerfall PC
Daggerfall Is Yet Another Addictive RPG From Bethesda Softworks, But The Elements Of Arena Still Remain.

GAMEPLAY:The Design Of Daggerfall May Seem Outdated To Some, But Some Game Elements Have Carried On Into Later Games, Mainly Ebony Weapons In Morrowind, Elven Weapons In Oblivion, And Many Books Detailing The Game's Events. The Simple Hack And Slash Design, The Massive Explorable Area, The Hundreds Of Dungeons, And Large Amount Of Weapons.

AUDIO: The Music Is Ambient When In Towns, Bars, Or Castles, But Turns Eerie When Entering Crypts, Dungeons Or Certain Cursed Areas. This Mixed Music Gives A Great Atmosphere To The Game.

GRAPHICS: The Graphics Are Great For A Game Made In 1996, Both Landscape And Building Details. Compared To Modern Games, It's Primitive.

Where To Get: As Part Of Bethesda's 10 Years Of Game Production, Both Arena And Daggerfall Were Released As Freeware For DOSBox Users.
