Although the game isn't based around the movie, COR: EFBB is indeed a very good game. And before you read the rest of the review, and need the quick rundown, BUY IT!
COR uses the 'normal mapping' system, if you dont know what that means, i'll just say it is very graphical. The trashiness of the prison is exactly like people say about it after they get out. And if you want to see true shooter attitude, Chronicals of Riddick doesn't disappoint.
Its graphical empire lets you down when you see the very linear textures....ICK! My TV makes it look like crap!
But what about it audio-wise? Not too shabby, i might say. It does have the surround sound effect on it..without installation of it. Cant say too much about the sound, as i have the volume low while playing it....:(
Gameplay, chronicals of riddick beats out almost every game...including DEAD RISING and BLACK.
I recommend the gameplay, initially! Awesome enemy AI, action-packed fire fights, and sweet graphics put together makes an awesome shooter. I strongly recomend it, even if it is more than 2 years old.

The best movie to game conversion ever. And one of the most exciting, realistic, gritty sci-fi action games ever made.

Riddick ties itself together perfectly and immerses you in the depths of one of the most rotten prisons in the galaxy.
