Take a dive in The Cave and play the 2D platformer adventure game in an extremely addictive way.
To reach certain points, where the action takes place and/or where puzzles have to be solved, you have to switch between your characters to get them where you want them to be. They will not follow automatically the one you're playing with at that particular moment. At the beginning it seems a bit awkward having to switch continuously between one and another, but this annoying gameplay has its purpose apparently. After a few minutes this 'switching thing' is entirely forgotten and will even contribute to the extreme fun. Better said, playing with, or playing as, more than one character becomes an easy habit, rather than a difficult split personality.
The Cave is a great game. It is a more or less straight forward 2D platformer but executed with an original and beautiful twitch. I had it downloaded from the PlayStation Store, not knowing what to expect. The reviews of players like you helped me to buy it. And I have no regret or whatsoever ever since having done so. The graphics are good, the gameplay is addictive and original and the puzzles are challenging enough.
So if you're looking for a great game The Cave is a welcome alternative between all the blockbuster games you can choose from. Which are great too of course, but using your head was never so much fun as using it for The Cave.
