I'm digging the new and improved concept. Looks way better than the old teasers from a year ago.
3-4 player coop with interchangeable/hirable operatives, each with permadeath and ironman mode, would be awesome and original plus intense. please let that be in the game. Cross fingers.
would be cool if it was brothers in arms, mass effect and xcom mashed together, just hope teammate AI is smart enough since they can drop dead at any moment.
Kind of reminds me of FallOut with all this retro stuff and 60's setting. I like it, assuming that at some point they will release a XCOM sequel of this in a more modern setting. Like setting up the background story (ala Dragon Age, etc)
It seems kinda different than the original idea. I'm kind of sad about that, although at least with this one it seems like it's basically just Xcom but now you're actually one of the guys on the ground, more action-y and less technically lol
I like the idea of exploring the origins of the XCOM project. This looks very interesting.
Hope the Base building and world that made Xcom popular is in here. Since I am pretty sure people or the XCom fans will be looking for that and not just a straight forward FPS.
1 Like Looking forward to it. I'm playing through Enemy Unknown right now, and I'm excited to give this a shot. The idea of a tactical squad shooter always makes me excited for a new game. I loved the Brothers in Arms games for that reason. Future Soldier as well. I hope this is able to be as good/better.

only complaint is, graphics are abit off (PC player here..)
@Armyboy5 Yea the graphics are bit consolish but almost all games have this problem because developers base their games in X360 and PS3 old hardware
2 Like from the FPS perspective, the developers should be able to deliver a better experience (not necessarily a better gameplay than the original X-com) about the matter of UFO's, encounters, abductions and aliens in both cinematic and deep tactical gameplay aspects. I want to see some jaw dropping paranormal activities, UFO sightings, classified facilities...well you got the point. Hope they deliver us with such immersive and intriguing experience. hope to see something new and innovative.
