    X-Com for Monkeys

Rated on August 20, 2013 by PeterDuck

This may be a good game for those who drool over the UFO's, conspiracy theories, alternative histories as well as those who love the 50's and the 60s (even though they weren't even born then). This is...

That's what you get when you cross XCOM with Mass Effect: An uninspired hybrid blasphemy.

Rated on August 20, 2013 by cgobeil

First off I want to say that this game should never have been released! Not in its actual form anyway... It's a Mass Effect/XCOM rip-off that fails to capture a single positive aspect of those games....

Clunky controls and unrewarding combat make playing the game feel like a chore to simply progress through the story line

    Rated on August 20, 2013 by Whizzard9992

The good - Great story line and atmosphere immediately immerses you in a 1960's world being invaded by aliens. You are connected to the hopelessness of fighting a far superior enemy, and unless you...

It's a fun game, but it is a very huge missed opportunity for something really unique and cool.

I will give you the skinny on each facet of the game, and then offer some conjecture afterwards. Graphics and Sound - 8 So... the good news it that the game looks great. It really sells the 196...

This game is a shoddy port of the Mass Effect Gameplay into a very poor and uninspiring version of the X Com Universe.

    Rated on August 29, 2013 by y_roland

The characters bland are at best. The starting character is decent, but eventually is replaced, by someone I had NO interest in, and no empathy for and that I was begging the game to give me a chance ...

Gets boring after few hours, uses XCOM name without the futures we looking for.

    Rated on August 31, 2013 by 2Apunisher

Good graphics and effects, not bad voice acting. Good atmosphere for the games era. Mediocre shooter that uses XCOM name and just giving us a small taste of the XCOM world we like. I know its a act...

Endless tedius battles and endless conversations in a hollow world where nothing you do really matters

Rated on September 02, 2013 by gocgoc

If they'd have done it correctly it could have been epic! It could have been a XCOM game with realtime battle - giving you a better feeling for the little guy doing all the fighting, while still al...
