Way overrated. Way to easy even on difficult settings. way too much Beatles in 1 game. Don't believe the hype!
The visuals are okay but grow old fast. The Beatles had some great art and shows. But I think there should've been more variety. No one in my family or friends cared much about the documentary part of this game. Even my caregiver didn't like it.
One of the things I loved so much about Rock Band vs Guitar Hero is that just about 100% of the songs can be transferred to the harddrive and played while only using 1 disc. No need to swap out constantly like Guitar Hero. But they didn't do that with the Beatles, none of the songs are transferable. Are The Beatles really that good to deserve the start of their own spin-off plus have downloads of even more Beatles songs? How much Beatles is enough? Even Lego Rock Band songs can be transferred to the harddrive and played using the Rock Band 2 disc. That's a huge selling factor in my opinion after having played both franchises games. I wont buy another Guitar Hero game unless they fix that problem.
If you want simple easy classic music which wont challenge you all to much, then I totally recommend this game to you, you will LOVE it.
If you want challenge and a game that encourages you to try harder than stay away from this game.
If you are a HUGE Beatles fan and can't get enough, then this game has your name all over it because you'll get so much Beatles you'll faint.
My opinion?? Pass or wait till it hits the bargain bin under 20 bucks. I wish I had.
