Like Call of Duty 4, short on story but strong multiplayer which is addictive. #Real Score 9.2/10#

Things have pretty much changed since everyone first saw the first gameplay of Killzone back at E3 in 2005 where alot of people were shocked and surprised on how good it looks on the Playstation 3.
Then years later the game has changed alot and putten a few new features and of course making the settings dark and creepy a little for a first-person shooter.
For fans of the series who have played through the first game on Playstation 2. The story for Killzone 2 follows just after the first game a few years later and the story is now focusesd on the Helghast planet where the IRS and ending the war once and for all.
Gameplay: If you played the first Killzone controls are the same but for other first-person shooter fans it's basic controls if you've played through other games like Resistance, Bioshock or Timesplitters. Killzone 2 has alot of weapons that you can use to kill Helghast's or other players on multiplayer. You can use a flamethrower to burn enimies which is fun or you can use the basic sniper-rifle or everyone's favourite the shotgun.
In Killzone 2 you'll be killing Helghasts but there are few new enemies in the game where you'll be killing these giant Helghast's that look like Big Daddy's from Bioshock but like on other games you can easily kill them from behind.
During gameplay if any of your soliders or conrades are hurt you can quickly heal them and they'll be back on there feet.
You'll also be useing the PS3 controllers sixaxis to tilit the controller to plant D-Charges on walls or turing wheel panels to open doors.
Graphics and Sound: Best thing about Killzone 2 were the graphics which look amazing and probably has the best visuals almost perfect to Metal Gear Solid 4's graphics. But you can brighten your settings for Killzone 2 if your wanting to play it with the darkest setting or having it all brighten.
Comparing to the graphics to E3's 2005 presentation it looks almost the same as it was back then.
Yes there's loads of blood if you love games with blood and guts. Watch enemies and soliders getting burned alive can be fun watching them getting burned alive or being eletricuted ha ha. During gameplay you'll notice blood on the screen if you get hit by enemies and everything will turn grey if you don't kill any Helghasts you'll easily die so make sure you take cover.
Another thing that looks amazing is the voicing and music for Killzone. It does feel like a sci-fi film a little bit making you feel your part of the film but your main charcters are most act tough and just want to kill stuff if you've played other first-person shoothers you'll notice stright away.
Overall: Campagin mode you'll take you few hours but Campaign is short only having 10 chapters, but there are throphies if you are one of those gamers who likes collecting all throphies and ahcivements for Killzone. Multiplayer is addicitive speically if you loved Call of Duty 4's Multiplayer mode, You can play with over 32 players online you can earn medals and ribbons if you play over against more players making you get quick levels and rankings.
For Killzone 2 multiplayer has it's basic team deathmatches, capture and hold areas or assassination where you'll be taking out certain players online.
Killzone 2 has alot to offer for fans and playstation owners yes it's worth picking if you do see this game cheap anywhere or if your not into first-person shooters you can always borrow the game from a friend but you will not regret it, it has alot of replay value and strong multiplayer.
