Jimmy Neutron is one of my favorite characters ever. When I got Jimmy Neutron: Jet Fusion for my Game Boy Advance, I was excited. After playing it, Jimmy Neutron: Jet Fusion was a fun shooter to play. The game is about Jimmy, who invents the "Virtual World Reproduction Machine" to present a book report to his class on his favorite book, Jet Fusion. Unfortunately, the machine messes up and warps Jimmy and his class into the world of the book. In the book Professor Calamitous is trying to take over the world, and he must be stopped. During the game, Jimmy runs through side-scrolling levels blasting enemies with his gadgets. Jimmy can discover stuff like secret areas with power-ups and upgrades for his gadgets and health. Also there are some obstacles in the levels that Jimmy needs to overcome by using his gadgets or by the help of his robotic dog, Goddard. At the end of a level Jimmy will collect an invention part. After three levels, Jimmy will use the invention parts to make a gadget that lets him play a mini-game. After the mini-game he'll fight a boss, which is one of his friends transformed. After that, it's on to the next world. The game is simply a fun shooter to play. The graphics don't really match the Jimmy Neutron show in any way, but they are very colorful and go well with the game. The sound was ok. The sound effects were great, along with the voice clip of Jimmy's dog, Goddard, was cool too. The music was ok, some of it I liked, and some I didn't like. Jimmy Neutron: Jet Fusion is a great game. It's a fun little cartoon-based shooter that I really enjoyed.
