Writing this review is making me a little sad, specifically noticing that this game has been out now for just over 12 years. This was the first game I played that actually scared me. At the time this was released, there was currently nothing on the market with the great graphics that this game had. Even 13 years later, many games do not have the artistic flair and eeire atmosphere that only this game can capture. It is a shame The 7th Guest does not work with current computers, if it did I would still be playing this game sometimes at night with the lights off to bring back old great memories of scaring myself silly wandering throughout the mansion.

+ The graphics and atmosphere of this game are absolutely breathtaking. They were unheard of in the days of its release and still hold up well many years later.

+ The puzzles to solve are animated well and fun to play.

+ Voice acting is funny, fun, and well done

- A few puzzles may be too tough for some people

Many many scary games have came out since this one, but this is one of the only games in my life that actually made me feel as if I was "INSIDE" the game and haunted mansion myself. Its easy to get drawn into the game after playing at night with the lights off for a few minutes. It was a revolutionary game at the time it was released, and still not much can match it today.
