An adequate XBOX live arcade game with good replay. A nice alternative to the real game when you have no cash

What can you say this is Texas Holdem with fake money. The graphics are kept to the bare minimum and the sound can get annoying but for the price and if you can find a game with a buy in then you can have fun with this game. The achievements are pretty good except the ones you have to achieve through the single player. Because if you do not intend to go online then this game is a waste of your time. The AI is mostly stupid, you can't raise preflop 95% of the time because they will all fold. Then if they do call you, your probably beat because they have Aces or Kings. So stay away from single player. Now as far as multiplayer this game can be quite addicting. It is all done properly from small to big blinds and then they gradually increase. They do however in my opinion start off to low. There is a free buy in tournament up to a 500,000 buy in. The free buy in sucks most of the time because everyone is overly aggressive. Most people will end up playing the $4000 buy in the most. The top three all earn money which gives players incentive to stick around. The table consists of eight players in the competitive matches. I wish when searching for a game it would tell you how many players were in the game before you jumped in. This would make searching for a game a lot easier. Overall the multiplayer of Holdem is good if you are a fan of the game and it being easily accessable from XBOX live arcade there should be little trouble getting a game most of the time.
