It's Texas Hold'em, how bad could it be? Well, it's not good folks.
Sure the game is pretty fun. But I play poker in real life and online, so I have to keep that in mind when i'm playing this game. And quite frankly, this is the worst texas hold'em game I have ever played.
The CPU is retarded, just too stupid for words.
The graphics are really really bad, and I mean, bad.
The presentation is terrible, as if it is a game from the 80s. For a game this simple, you'd think the screen would be much less busy, but it isn't.
Not to mention the writing on the screen is pretty darn small.
It's good that it was free, but I honestly wouldn't bother with this game. If you want a good poker game, which MUCH better opponents than the CPU or the XBOX LIVE goofs, get pokerstars or partypoker online. they are free and well done.
Microsoft should have never let this game pass inspection. Sure it's playable, but if you're a poker player, you'll probably hate this game. If you're not a poker player, if you're a beginner, then this is not the way to learn. It teaches you TERRIBLE habits that would never work in a real game with half intelligent people (those on xbox LIVE don't qualify).
How in the world you screw up one of the most popular card games is beyond me. But hey, they did it!!! It's not worth the points, it's barely worth it being free!!!
