This game has a different take on racing which is in a way quite refreshing.
TDU has a different approach to racing. It's not like other orthodox racing games whose main focus is only on speed.
TDU also equally focuses on the driver's lifestyle which is quite leisurely & lavish. You as a driver can buy houses, clothes, accessories, etc. for yourself along with doing normal races which I found pretty unique & intriguing.
Races include events like Time Attack i.e. dropping a person to a specific location but the time limit is quite luxurious, Cargo/Freight i.e. dropping/driving a specific car to a specific location without any time limit, etc.
Graphics & ambience are pretty good.
One main issue here is the handling of cars which according to me is not bad as it is rumoured. But the best inclusion for me were the bikes.
It's really great fun to ride bikes & discover roads with them though some of you may find it tedious but I really enjoyed with it especially driving the MV Agusta.
For completing the game 100% you have to play online though I haven't played it.
Offline part constitutes 85-90% of the game.
So should I go for it?
Yes. If you want to take a break from normal high-speed racing games then give it a try.
The Good : Nice leisurely racing & scenery. No difficulty level which means amateur players can easily beat this game.
The Bad : Road discovery can be tedious. Even if you miss by a single inch, you won't reach 100% completion. Handling of all the cars is not that good.
Final Verdict : Even with some minor handling/driving issues, it's still a nice game.
