E3 2010 Stage Demo: Test Drive Unlimited 2

Liked the first and im sure ill like this but GT5 looks better.

i wanted a demo not questions and a trailer!

Cool.. now, should I get it on 360 or pc?

this game should be the best racer ever, i used to love diong those missions where you pick up a car and drop it off in a diff location and you would get a bonus for not damaging the car, so you would have an excuse to take a nice cruise and get paid for it.Now we get another island and off road tracks,wow,roll on sept 21st

I agree with the interviewer, TDU is one of my all time favorites. I mean come on! What else game could you do the "all around island" challange, that took you a frickin HOUR to complete, even on the Kawasaki! Such a great game. High hopes for this one.

@racer4ever123 Well it is only my opinion i enjoy TDU 2 because the cool stuff you can do on it.

this was NOT a stage demo. they only showed the trailer for it and that was it. Misleading title... it should have just been an interview....this is the ONLY gamespot e3 stage demo ive seen where NOTHING WAS DEMOED! what happened gamespot? :-( aww and i had a bad morning was looking foward to seeing this...oh well...guess we'll just have to wait. heh.

Can't wait, looks astonishing. Oh, and about GT5, I'm also very hyped with it, but why do you want over 800 cars? In GT4 they had A LOT of cars and most of them were useless, like japanese delivery vans. It just looked liked they put all sorts of cars just to say the game had a lot of cars. I prefer quality over quantity.

@DarkNinjaFilms i like TDU2 but im more hyped up about GT5 OVER 800 CARS:)

@racer4ever123 That game isn't freeroam this is because people have more fun driving around not GT5 which just lets you drive round in circles constantly

@MrAfro; im sure they will i dont think they would put in offroad and then have you drive a car that cant handle on them that wouldnt be much fun i dont think they will have you offroad in a ferrarri or lambo unless they put in that lambo truck that would be cool

i hope they have good cars for off roads racin like evo's and subaru's

@lcdcc I totally agree... very sim like but not too hardcore. Hopefully TDU2 will finally take the racing market crown away from NFS, which has been living off a long unfulfilled reputation... even if they are finally putting together a new Hot Pursuit.

this does look a massive improvement hope the ffeedback for wheels is. as they have obviously improved the sim visuals and this was always a sim development of vehicals.

@eriktkire i thought test drive was really a fun and very sim based game but was lacking come how long has test drive been going my god soooo many years we should have both options...

If the handling is as good it sounds, this is going to be a huge loud of fun to play with a proper racing sim controller (wheel/pedals/paddles or H-shift). I wonder if there will be clutch pedal support. @lcdcc isn't F1 2010 going to be a hardcore sim? That might be too much precision for most people, plus it won't be a huge open world to just cruise. TDU2 will have that "fun to wander" quality that the better GTA/sandbox games have. I'm betting there will be room for both at the top of the racing food chain.

test drive unlimited 1 was a decent game on pc but the force feedback for wheels was very poor, and also they couldnt make a round corner, as corners were made of straight sections stuck together, hope its at least a hundred times better for me to buy this and need for speed shift on pc was good but on dx9 like a console, hope they step up the dx level to 11 but it just doesnt look like it.just buy f1 2010 and download any mod from the f1 modders for free( hopefully) from minis to lemans and any tracks you request .... codemasters f1 engine will just blow all these mediocre games away.

@ all the webol Need for Speed fanboys: enjoy thinking that Criterion developing Nfshp3 will make a difference, we will be enjoying our superior Tdu2 XD

Better than Need for Speed, thouroughly. Nfs is just pulling it's usual showin' off moves like it does every year so it can keep people from not giving a crap by the time it comes out. Test Drive Unlimited will not have to do that, because the first was so amazing. Tdu 2 will release welcomed by me and many others. Need for Speed will just release to people giving the usual forced praise and limited appeal.

you can hear a girl moaning from 6:20 until probably 8:00 or 8:30 what is that cant gamespot remove it or something

This game is going to be amazing It would be cool if you could give your characters tattoos but I highly doubt that's going to happen. Please have the nissan gtr.

I hope we can pimp more then the face and hair on of characters. Kinda sux when everybody have the exact same body. But realy cool game. Cant wate.
