Off-road games are hard to come by but this one's good.
Gameplay-There are three huge maps on an island, desert and mountains. Each of them fun to explore using the free roam mode, and they are so big that the whole campaign, spanning many races, all are on those levels. There are about 12 trucks that all are different and upgradeable. A couple of them are secrets. There is a multiplayer, free roam, campaign, and just races. They are all fun and worth playing.
Graphics-Vehicle models are near perfect although there isn't damage. The environments aren't very detailed at all but are huge and fun to look at the huge hills. There are some civilian cars and trains but that's about it.
Sound-I LOVE THE SOUNDTRACK. This is one of the few games that has a good rock soundtrack. There's nothin like blasting Metallica while jumping off a huge mountain. The engine noises are varied and nicely done too. There are some other good affects like collision noices and water noises that all sound real.
Value-This one has a couple modes that will keep you busy for a while. Maybe not a buy though.
I love this game and I wish they would make more offroad games like this.
