The love child of Minecraft and Metroid.

Every now and then a game comes out of nowhere that completely surprises us, and Terraria is one of those games. I had never even heard of this game until the day it was released on Steam. I am a huge fan of 2D platforme... Read Full Review

"Sword beats paper, get one today."

Apparently a lot of people are angry because this game is a Minecraft "clone "and so they're giving it negative reviews without actually playing it. Supposing they're right and it is a clone, there are also concepts in t... Read Full Review

Despite its simplistic look, Terraria is an incredibly deep and fun game.

Gameplay: The gameplay in Terraria is based on exploration and discovery. You start off with a weak character, but you can become more powerful by exploring the world. At first, it's likely that you won't know what to d... Read Full Review

    Frustrating is Kind

This game has to be for those that sit at work and play these types of games in a window rather than doing their job... I say this because knowing how bad work can be, this can't seem that bad in comparison, this is the ... Read Full Review

Explore, prospect, quarry, build, farm, fight, magic, treasure, craft... the list goes on!

Scrape resources from the land and build homes, gardens, and farm. Find treasure deep underground and then mine for gold and jewels. Craft everything you need; swords, armor, alchemy items, bricks and more. This is a... Read Full Review

Terraria is all about the crafting that it forgets to focus on core gameplay by offering balancing issues and bad appeal

Terraria, at first glance will look very reminiscent of something of a 2D clone of Minecraft with a sort of Super Mario Brothers feel to it. And in a very broad sense it is virtually exactly that, and if your the style o... Read Full Review

10 bucks that goes a long way.

Terraria does a sweet job at combining multiple genres into an enjoyable and affordable experience that will last long enough to justify the (arguably insane) price tag of 10/ten dollars. Personally, I researched Terr... Read Full Review

    So far, so good.

Gameplay From a first glance, Terraria may seem like a 2D MineCraft clone. Don't be fooled, it isn't all that much like MineCraft. Sure, you destroy blocks and everything in the game is based on said blocks, but Terra... Read Full Review

An great game...once you have patience to get the basics.

Terraria is one of the few games that I play on my notebook thanks to its extremely simple system requirements, so with a big promotion on the steam about an 4-pack, me and 3 friends decided to give it an shot, here's wh... Read Full Review

A Skeptic and his Change of Heart: Terraria

I went into this game as a huge Minecraft fan, so I was skeptical when I heard about Terraria. The fact that it was described as a 2D version of Minecraft just made it seem like some kind of copy-off that was trying to s... Read Full Review
