Known as Terranigma outside of Japan Tenchi Sozo is a 1995 action Role Playing Game developed by Quintet for the Super Nintendo console. Tenchi is number three in the Soul Blazer series with Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia preceding. The game tells of a boy named Ark who through curiosity opens pandoras box and freezes everyone in his village. After releasing the villagers Ark finds that it is not only his village that needs help but the entire Earth.

Tenchi featured several elements that were rarely used in rpg's of the time including an active battle system that was in many peoples opinion the best of any snes rpg. The game also features a magic system unlike other role playing games with magic being limited and almost unused in the game.

The graphics were amazing for a Super Nintendo gamwe and were only surpassed by the likes of Secret of Mana.

All in All Tenchi was an amazing game that was overlooked by many people but still managed to create a great fanbase and some quality moments for many gamers.
