He is coming after you to change the events of the future by saving you in the past....which would not work.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is i think the first game i got that was based of a film and what a film to base a game off. A bad guy thats a kickass liquid metal robot that can change its form to anything it touches. To a cyborg that looks like it could crush your head by just looking at it from across the room. Said cyborg being the good guy of the film/game where as in the last one he was the badguy. Which when you think about it makes for a good twist people thinking that the smaller of the two is the hero and is weaker when all along all is not what it seems.

The only down side for Terminator 2: Judgment Day is the time it was releasd the film looked epic and the effects for said film where just crazy cool...Now the consoles/systems of that day and age them being:

NES, Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, DOS and ZX Spectrum. All well and good but they could not live up to the look or feel of the film and the Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum where already at an age and where being overlooked due to them failings.

It is time like these that i would wish a remake was made...if someone took there time to rebuild this game from the ground up..with the same sort of gameplay but updated so it did not feel or look dated then it could do well. As the game stands now its a bit of mindless fun but realy that is all it is.
