People may find this review controversial, but an opinion's an opinion, and different opinions are assigned to each person. Sadly, I am one of what is possibly a few people who think that Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven, this installment in the Tenchu stealth series, is a bad game. However, I think that it wouldn't have actually been that bad, had the developer sorted out the one thing that I wish they'd sorted out- the controls. While combat and movement work okay, things really start to fall down with locking and guarding. Block and target are both assigned to different buttons (Circle and R1 respectively), and combined with the fact that you can't move while blocking unlike in games such as Okami and Zelda, it makes combat extremely awkward. Add to the fact that the storyline is extremely dull (An opinion of a traditional Zelda addict, just so you know), and a multiplayer battle mode based around button bashing, and you have a game that could have been good, but is ruined by the horrible control setup.
