Ive been playing the import version and let me start off with this note. It could not be any cooler to have a portable ninja game that looks this good! The game overall controls about the same as the previous editions of the game. The graphics are very surprising. The characters look like they have been ported from the ps2 version of Wrath of Heaven. The drawback is that the draw distance reminds me of the very first tenchu. The drawing distance will get you into trouble sometimes. The other issue is learning to control the game with the psp. This is not really a big deal because it just takes a little practice.
I described the game as immersive so I will clarify this. The brillant thing about the Tenchu series is the ability to bring the game into feudal Japan as a shinobi with the graphics, atmosphere, and music. I believe that this is the series strongest trait. The funniest thing about this is that Tenchu can once again be arguably the first stealth game on psp as with the psone.
