Easily one of the best, most addictive games ever, and I'm not just talking about the Jaguar!

User Rating: 9.6 | Tempest 2000 JAG
Tempest 2000 is remarkable. Playing it, you'll instantly forget you're connected to the lumpy, awkward Jaguar. The controls take a bit of getting used to since you don't have the knob to spin which is what Tempest was all about, but once you get accustomed to it, it becomes quite natural and you will soon be spending hours playing this game without realizing it.

Controls aside, it's quite easy to become addicted to this game once you pick it up. Wave after wave rolls by in a blur as you rock-out to the incredible techno soundtrack. If you're not listening to this game through an audio rig, then you're missing half of the point. The entire package of audio and visuals makes for a quite trippy experience that you don't forget.

I'm not kidding when I say this game is worth finding and owning a Jaguar. It's that good. And then get Aliens vs. Predator while you're at it to round-out the awesome titles available for that machine. I bought a lot of my Jaguar stuff on vglq.com [Video Game Liquidators] some years ago but they probably no longer have any Jag stuff. I'm sure eBay will cough-up some results, however.
