What can i say? I am a fan of the series since 1996 when i bought tekken 2. I played countless of hours tekken 2 and 3 both in arcades as well as on ps1,but since the moment i played tekken tag tournament i knew since then that i had my hands on an instant classic. The battle flow is amazing and is heavily relied upon the tekken 3 engine (which i thought was the best tekken ever, until i played tekken tag, that is! ;) ) , the graphics were much improved and the fighting roster contains no less than All the characters from the previous tekken games! (except from Gon and dr bosckonovich from tekken 3, but honestly who cares, right? :) ) Also the fact that you can make tag combos, throws etc, brings the already addictive tekken gameplay, to a whole new dimension. Unless you play it, you can't feel the magic, no matter how much i praise the game. I also have tekken tag tournament 2 on ps3, but it can't even compare to the original. too much wall combos, juggle combos etc etc. I hate this since the magnificent simplicity of the original tekken tag is absent. The original tekken tag has just the right balance between simple and complex moves,so that it can be appealing to all players, from rookies to hardened veterans! Summarizing I will say only this. It's been more than 15 years since it's release and i'm still addicted to it! How many games have the chance to make you feel like that? That's right! Almost none! None except Tekken tag tournament! A must for ANY GAMER, not just die hard tekken fans.
