Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for WiiU features exclusive Nintendo cross-over costumes.
What if the make an attachment for the left analog stick shaped like a ball and make a virtual arcade controller on the tablet for the game ?
Then what was Tatsunoko vs Capcom doing on there? And Smash Brothers.
Namco must be REALLY excited about their involvement in Super Smash Bros. 4 that they and Nintendo agreed on this extra content.
sorry nintendo im playing already playing this on my ps3.
wii1.5 is a joke.
and these nintendo costumes are just plain stupid.
It's that amazing attitude that's going to cause another videogame crash.
its nintendo and their cheap gimmicks thats going to cause another videogame crash.
Again that word copying LISTEN NOW BLIND NINTENDO FANBOYS NINTENDO ARE THIS WHO COPY COS THEY ARE SOO STUPID AND NOT HAVE IDEAS THE HAD COPY FROM SONY WITH THE WII SONY HAD WEBCAM FROM PS2 DAYS AND NOW THEY COPY FROM SONY AGAIN WITH THE WII U THE REMOTE PLAY PS3/PSP PS VITA GOT IT
Indeed, while I do defend Nintendo the most, it's because they get the most BS out of the big 3 and for the most part, it's totally uncalled for, especially when people act like Sony and Microsoft are gaming gods when they basically got majority of their ideas from Sega and Nintendo. I would gladly defend Sony and Microsoft if need be but obviously both companies don't get the same amount of unnecessary crap that Nintendo gets.
I'm 100% that I'm going to love my Wii U when I buy it on Nov. 18th since there are already about 7-8 games I want as soon as they come out.
@abHS4L88 Theres also that. And perhaps backwards compatibility across consoles (Super game boy).........I'm not a Nintendo fan boy whatsoever, I own every current gen console, but I'm tired of people, especially people who seem to have the intelligence of a soup spoon - come on here slagging off products they're yet to even try, without even putting a reasonable or mature thought forward towards it. We could be blind for defending the Wii U, come November 30th I might have it arrive on my doorstep, only for it to totally suck, and I hate it! But I won't know until I actually try it, and I'm prepared to put my faith in Nintendo. If it sucks, I've got one before the xmas rush - could probably Ebay it for x3 times what I pay for it when nobody can get one - but we'll wait and see what happens, I don't think I will be disappointed by it :)
Forgot touch based gaming. Not to rag on Sony and Microsoft but the only "innovation" Microsoft gave was achievements, XBox live was done by the community, not Microsoft themselves. Both companies are great since they can offer more powerful hardware for developers to go nuts with, but when it comes to offering options and creative gameplay, that's where Nintendo is necessary for the industry.
@abHS4L88 @Jestersmiles @foxfacer2d2 @HiImUPSMan @tdawgg30 Nintendo Firsts: Shoulder buttons. force feedback, analogue sticks, abidexxtrous control schemes, 3d without glasses, 4 player multiplayer without the use of a peripheral to allow you to do so, user avatars (take a look online before shunning that one), lightguns on a home console, motion controls......I think Nintendo have innovated enough. Graphical prowess does not equal fantastic system. The Wii may not be a powerhouse, but it still has some pretty amazing games on it, I have to say. I still play my Xbox 360 and ps3 in equal measures, but I still sink plenty of time into the 3ds and Wii when I get the chance to!
A lot of the studios that shutdown made great games but couldn't sell the 4-5 million required, Kingdom of Amalur being a good example of a well crafted game that actually sold well but because it didn't break even, the studio was closed down.
I just love your completely closed minded view of the industry.
Yes and where did Microsoft get the model for the XBox controller? The Dreamcast and where did Sega model their controller after? The SNES so it all goes back to Nintendo creating the ideal controller and everyone else making their own versions of it.
And so what if it looks similar to the 360 controller? It'll allow players to more easily adjust to it.
I am still playing with my Mouse and Keyboard and console still use controllers, hmmm I wonder how the kinect and the move are doing?
You know the copy of Nintendo "BIG INNOVATION" LMAO.
some innovation that they still need to Copy the 360 controller and call it a "pro" controller. LMAO.
I KNOW RIGHT! These people don't realize that this desire for more power is what's ultimately going to cause almost all these developers to either shut down or withdraw from the videogame industry. This one user had the audacity to say that it's the developer's fault if they don't meet the needs of the gamers (just because it's not a AAA title or whatever, despite still being a really good game).
I don't know if you read this, but it's an excellent article about the rising costs of gaming.
I love how you post your opinion as if it's fact.
1. Mario has remained one of the highest quality franchises around and the way you act like Mario is ALL Nintendo has, just shows your extreme ignorance.
2. Always? Let's look back at the Gamecube, N64, SNES, and NES, none being the weakest of their generations so just because the Wii so far has been the ONLY console that's been weaker than the competition, you automatically assume that's how it'll always be, great logic you got there. Even if their consoles continue to be weaker in tech, when has that ever been a deal breaker? Give me one generation where the most powerful console did the best.
3. To you, what Nintendo does are gimmicks, but okay humor me, what "innovations" have Sony and Microsoft brought to the gaming industry? Nothing against them, i think they're both great companies that have their individual strengths, but I'm SUPER curious for you tell me what innovations they've brought because pretty much the blueprint of how to make an amazing console pretty much came from someone else. The ONLY thing I could think of that Microsoft brought was achievements and to many gamers, achievements hardly mean anything.
So unless you could answer me properly, you GTFO with your ignorant baseless comments.
As long as the online works when the system launches, that's all that matters so why don't you try waiting at least until December before judging a system that isn't even out yet.
Yes new gimmicks, now tell me if these are just gimmicks and not innovation, then why are Sony and Microsoft always giving their own versions of it? It's not a gimmick if it becomes an industry staple and so far 3 out of the 4 "gimmicks" Nintendo has come up with have already been adopted by the rest of the industry. I trust you know what they are.
Oh 3rd party support will last regardless of what Sony and Microsoft come out with.
Then please tell me what innovation means to you and while your at it, tell me what innovations Sony and Microsoft have come up with in terms of videogame hardware and I can guarantee you every answer you give me will be wrong.
if the fact that Katsuhiro Harada does not know how Nintendo online works not a red flag to you, then I really don't know what to tell you.
The only ones deluded are you Nintendo fans always claiming that Nintendo always Innovating when they flat out just making new gimmicks, have fun with the 3rd party support while it last.
@abHS4L88 Nintendo stands for Fun, Quality, and Innovation.
A WiiMote and Nunchuck back then were about $60 and the WiiMotion plus attachment was $20. PS3 controllers also sold for $60 and as for the hunks of plastic, well no one was forced to purchase those.
And while the Wii may have had a lot of different peripherals, the excellent thing about the Wii U is that all of those devices are still going to be used in some way.
The thing is way too many people are mistaking the Wii U for "yesterday's tech" when it should be obvious that the Wii U is clearly more powerful.
Also when you see how long it took developers to fully utilize the power of the 360 and still have yet to harness the full power of the PS3, I don't see why a huge jump in power is necessary, especially with the staggering cost of development with a pretty low chance of success unless it's an established franchise. Nintendo is giving us more power, but also shifting directions again and giving more options in terms of gameplay rather than power which is very smart for this coming generation.
chicken shoot , also any game with the name circus or collection in it.
I like nintendo but they are known for this kinda crap and dont forget how at first a set of controllers ,nunchuck wii mote and wii mote plus (yeah wii mote plus that says allot for his point) ended up costing 120 bucks now if you want 2-4 players and of course theres buying wii golf club tenis racket steering wheel and thats just a hunk of plastic. again i love nintendo feel the magic on the ds , mario galaxy love em.
ive got nothing against nintendo but there is some truth to what he says. using yesterdays tech and bundling it gimmicks (that do look cool) won't work forever.
I did buy a wii and i enjoyed some of the games allot but most of them felt kinda..meh. not downing nintendo (their first party stuff is great) I just understand what he means . i bet he's thinking by the time it comes out the other new systems will be out and the fact that its supposed to be big on third party games we might have the same problem we had with the wii 3rd party games. i mean its not just about the graphics (not that its a bad thing to like good graphics).
If Nintendo is just about gimmicks, then I guess you don't mind saying that Sony is just about copying and shoving as much hardware into their consoles as they can.
Frankly, I don't care about online so that's never a deal breaker for me and I see you've already tested the Wii U's online to know that it sucks.
Do you have a 3DS? If you don't then you can't squat about Nintendo's online because the 3DS's online works great which means that the Wii U could only be better.
The only "accessory" I'm going to be buying for the Wii U is a Pro controller because I already have 3 WiiMotes so I don't know where you're getting this $200 BS from.
You can stay deluded believing that you're having the "best gaming experience" around when no one else really gives a damn, I'll be keeping my options open and enjoying great games from all places.
Scream all you want Nintendo just about gimmicks.
A $300 system that slight better that what out right now , with crap online , with $200 off accessories to buy if you want to "full" experience .
Oh look a fighting game. to bad the tablet will suck for it, here buy "our" "pro" controller. LMAO
please I stick with my pc/ps3/360 with better online and better controls.
Enjoy your smoke and mirrors kid.
Tell me, how many studios has Nintendo closed due to financial issues? Now go ahead and look up how many Microsoft, Sony, EA, and Activison have closed down due to the rising costs of development and the demand to meet the needs of spoiled gamers who only care about "state of the art" gaming and won't settle for anything less.
Nintendo and their "cheap gimmicks" have only served to strengthen the industry, because of the DS, handheld gaming has skyrocketed and the Wii extended gaming to a mass audience.
Learn some economics and business and come back to me with a valid argument.
Okay the wii u has hooked me in ninja gaiden exclusive edition zombiu and now this dayumn u marketing plans then every other game for ps3 yay
Well that was certainly.....different? But admittedly unique, lol.
(Still getting on the PS3, though....sorry, Nintendo)
