Tell me if Im wrong but isn't Street Fighter games more popular then Tekken games? The thing is that Street Fighter games are WAY harder to play then Tekken games but SF is more popluar. I could never play Street Fighter games but why SF is more better?
@flameon12346 There is no way that Street fighter is harder to play than Tekken. Since tekken has so much more options, it takes so much more studying of match ups and practicing.
1 Like @flameon12346 SF is more popular. Better? Well that's just a matter of opinion and not to mention they are completely different in just about every way possible. They're both great franchises and I think that up SF being around earlier and available on more consoles and Locations for arcade also give it the popularity edge over Tekken since the first 5 Tekken games were only on Playstation consoles.
1 Like @RBRTR0NZX @flameon12346 I prefer Tekken, and like RBRTR0NZX said, it's a matter of opinion. If you are from North America, you probably think SF because it has embedded its brand in our psyche. When 3D fighters came around ... Tekken, DOA, Virtua Fighter and Soul Calibur series took hold.
@PuffinGod @flameon12346 I get what you mean SF is pretty rampant here in the states I love both(and KOF) almost equally but I've put the most time into Tekken definitely. Oh and by the way your Sun Ce profile photo is awesome (DW for LIFE!)
3 Like Tekken is awesome. it's one of those games where if you know how to play there is no chance for a noob to button mash his way to victory, that's why tekken is for true gamers and not casual gamers.
Well I would't be so sure about "if you know how to play there is no chance for a noob to button mash his way to vicotry" because when I play online with my friend that was a pro and I was a beginner I beat him alot. But the rest I agree with.
1 Like Oh this came out less than a month ago? I was thinking of the similarly crappy Tekken VS (whatever) ... They're all terrible. HEY fighting games ... Try to innovate ... Anything at all.
@Rackjaw if you don't like fighting games that's fine, but don't comment on a genre tat you clearly are not educated on. Tekken is great and doesn't need to innovate. Fighting games rely on adding new characters that drastically play different from each other. The balance between each character is what makes every fighting game unique and worth playing. also, the fighting system for each game itself could be considered innovative. Like how MVC introduced advancing guard to the vs series, or cross combo, burst from guilty gear, tagging in for chain combos, x factor and many other systems that drastically change each fighter. you just mad cause you don't understand hows these games work and you hate losing to people who are clearly better then you.

@elefantas21 @Rackjaw The balls to do what? Play 1match at a time, then pick new characters or the ones you just played to play 1match again?!
Got this game at redbox months ago. Literally returned it within the hour. Horrible fighting game, doesn't even deserve a redbox ... Let alone a legit rental.

3 Like @Rackjaw You should try fighting games for children which you only use 1 or 2 button. To play Tekken you need more time to practice and have some friend to show your mistakes.
