XBOX 360 controller help and this game

Hi, I just recently bought and xbox 360 and want to get TTT2. I'm a decent fellow at the game however I've used PS2/PS3 all my life to play tekken and I'm a pad player. I am horrible at stick and the xbox controller does not have a d-pad that individualizes the buttons L/R/U/D all the directional buttons is on a joystick swivel and on moves like the EWGF instead of proper input I duck or even worse jump thus leading me to punishment. Is there a 3rd party controller that is good that has a similar D-pad to the PS3 dualshock controller? Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I've heard people say good things about the Street Fighter fighting gamepad. Also the Batman Arkham City wired controller has a non swivel dpad like the PS3.

I use one of the 360 pads that has the pop-up rotating dpad (In the popped up position). Once you get used to it, it makes doing iws's and bdc'ing much easier than the PS controller because you can roll it like a stick. I don't play Mishima's so I can't comment on EWGFs but its always worth a try.

Also, I main Drag so I have to iws a LOT, so trust me when I say its easier once you get used to it.

I wasn't able to get by on arcade sticks, having spent my entire Tekken career on a PS2 controller. So I went looking and I found this:

there's another, cheaper product that people seem to say the same things about here:

it requires you to start out by plugging the adapter in, then plugging a wired 360 controller in, and THEN a PS2 controller, and then voila! Exactly what you are looking for.

I bought a new wireless controller from TigerDirect for 32 bucks, I think, but if you don't already have one, you could score a cheap used one somewhere, craigslist etc.

I've had experience with the first link, and i can recommend it. Have not had any issues with it whatsoever. Hope this helps.
