Are there a lot of chickens in NZ? Would a kiwi (or cassowary if you're really hungry) be a tasty replacement in a barbecue recipe?

There are enough chickens in NZ. In fact, there's a KFC just down the road I eat at regularly.
And the Kiwi population is so small (I think they may even be protected), I don't know anyone who has tried eating one. I'd assume they "taste kinda like chicken", which is the standard response to the question "What does it taste like?"

Lol I guess for areas who DO have a Church's Chicken.
I mean, it's just an extra advertising incentive, I think (sheesh, I dunno about other regions, but Paul in Scenario Campaign in T6 punches through a fence with a Church's Chicken poster, that might have something to do with it).

When I was young, I read a book about those flightless birds. Here is what I never forgot:
-Ostriches-> Biggest, Fastest
-Emus-> Meanest (and they're all pretty mean)
-Kiwis-> Smallest, Cutest
-Cassowaries-> Coolest (freaking colors, man)
-Rheas-> Most boring, i.e. the generic one
-Moa-> The comically oversized and hairy prehistoric model (eaten to death by MAORIS Mr. NZ. I hold you responsible for that holocaust)
