On previous Tekken games EWGF is listed as 14 frames (13 for Kaz) and IIRC, the frame window to pull those moves off are: 2 frames for Hei, 3 frames for DJ and 4 frames for Kaz/Jin. My question is that is it still the same? Or its changed somewhat? Because from my own experience EWGF's execution is still the same as Tekken 6.

    It's always been 1 frame.

Its the same as Hei's Omen TGF or Hwoarang's JFSR?

As trueOgre_Killer said, the player has always had to press d/f and 2 on the same frame.

The window that matters (in terms of the difference between the Mishimas) is how long after f has been pressed that d/f:2 can be pressed and still produce an EWGF. It's shortest for Heihachi, while Kaz and DJ have a longer window (Kaz's may be longer that DJ's, IDK, nor do I know about Angel's). Heihachi's short window is the reason why his dEWGF is a bit harder, since you can't dash as long into it.

OTGF and JFSR are the same in that d/f and the limb button have to be pressed on the same frame. They both have even shorter windows between f and the d/f1_4) inputs, though. Plus, you can't press d to execute them; you can only go from f (to N) to d/f. So they're tougher (but not really that tough, honestly). The only real drawback is that they're basically impossible to dash into, IIRC. At least that's been my experience with OTGF; I don't play Hwoarang.

When you read that EWGF is 13f for Kazuya, that's only if you execute it absolutely perfectly. That is; you press forward for 1f, 1f later you go to neutral (for 1f) and then input df+2 1f later (and on the same frame).

It's probably better to think of the actual uppercut having 11f start up from when you input the df+2 part of the motion. Chances are, EWGF is going to be coming out somewhere around 15 or 16 frames after you start inputting the first forward motion, unless you've REALLY practiced being fast with the inputs.
